About Rodgers
Rodgers is the third child from a family of seven. He has four brothers and three sisters. He stays with his father and older brother. His father is the breadwinner of the family. His favorite food is boiled fish served with nshima (a Zambian staple food) and his favorite colors are blue and grey.
Rodgers joined the Arise Africa student sponsorship program in 2014 when he was in the 6th grade. His father was struggling to keep him in school at the time due to financial challenges. His father is very grateful to the sponsorship program for providing his son with a good education.
Rodgers is proud of himself for qualifying to go to a good university. He has made his family proud by being the first child to qualify for university. Banking and Finance are new challenges that Rodgers looks forward to tackling. He is confident that he will thrive in these courses because of his love for math. He is also interested in learning from the other courses that come with this program.
Rodgers is nervous about moving to another town and living away from his family. Rodgers still looks forward to this new phase of his life despite the changes!
